We designed and printed a lovely wedding invitation suite for a very excited bride and groom. They are getting married at their family church with a reception to follow at Customs House, so the brief was for something classic and traditional, with a touch of their own personality. After the initial meeting, we invited them over for a quick photo session and captured their silhouettes. The design features a collection of frames, letterpress printed blind, with the central frame laser cut to reveal their silhouettes on blue. Inside, their silhouettes are presented within a radiant blue heart and an invitation to celebrate their marriage. The colour was carefully matched to the fabric of the bridesmaid dresses.
We completed the suite by applying the design across gift cards, RSVP cards and matching envelopes. The set (including the envelopes) were printed on Crane Lettra, a 100% cotton stock that is designed specifically for its fibrous texture and its ability to take a wonderful impression.
Everyone was very happy with the outcome and it seems the recipients were too. We were delighted when we received the following email from our happy clients:
Kell and I have been hearing back from a lot of our guests regarding the invitations and we just wanted to thank you and Jenna so much. Everyone loves them and says how they suit Kell and I down to a tee – which is exactly what we were hoping for!
It was a true collaborative effort from start to finish on this project, which we think confirms something that we had long suspected: two heads are better than one.
