Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to send a letter of love. So we asked two letterers that we love, hailing from different sides of the globe, to work on the theme of ‘Love Notes’ for this year’s Valentine’s Day cards.
Maybelle Imasa-Skukuls is an artist, calligrapher, designer and world traveller from San Francisco, and her design ‘Lots of Love‘ is all about volume.
For Australia’s favourite lady of lettering, Gemma O’Brien, the best love notes are those that bang out of the speaker. Her design is inspired by all the 80s goodness that is Pat Benatar’s Love is a Battlefield.
Instead of sending a romantic snapchat this Valentine’s Day, send something that will last.
The Valentine’s Day cards are A6 (105 x 148.5mm), letterpress printed on Wild 300gsm and each card comes complete with a kraft envelope. You’ll find them both in our online shop.
