While we were printing the Valentine’s Day cards, we fired up the Asbern Proof Press for the first time. The Malade Pathetics lads just happened to be in town so we invited them over to work up some linocuts and roll their own prints.
It was an awesome day for learning. Amongst other things (such as the hierarchy of graffiti culture) Malade gave us a good lesson in reduction linocut printing, and we experimented with feeding canvas through the press.
