Like a blank loves blank…

Valentine's Day card - detail

We love all things sweet for Valentine’s Day (almost as much as a fat kid loves cake). The floral woodcut illustration and vintage styled sans serif typography is offset by your sweet, silly or serious handwritten message. Our favourite combinations: peanut butter loves jelly, cheese loves macaroni, a bee loves honey, meat pie loves sauce, a monkey loves bananas, Mario loves Luigi (though apparently this is incorrect, according to our resident video game nerd) and the list goes on. What’s your favourite?

If you have a winning combination, this card is for sale in our shop.

While the card was printed using one plate, we played around with a split ink fountain creating a three colour gradient. As the print job progressed the colours became more uniformly mixed together, so each card has it’s own unique blend of colours.
